Impressive.

There is one I've seen on HybridZ with a viper v12 in it. Far more modified than that tho, he had to cut away the firewall to get good weight balance and engine fitment...

That is totally Bonkers!

by bonkers I mean you would have to be a  totally cashed up bogan or an imbecile to even think of that.

talking of that is not the exchange rate almost dollar for dollar.

hmmm......

i would buy it, but it is missing the fluro lights!

That viper install is a V10 and 7l if IIRC. There is a 240z with a GTO body work and a BMW V12 in it too...will find the link.....still looking......found it :)

'You ain't seen nothing yet'. Wait until you see the V12 being built right here in Oz. (Don't ask as I can't tell)

Michelle's BMW V12 has had the chassis (unibody) stretched 100mm just forward of the firewall to both accommodate the engine and give the car the same wheelbase as a real GTO. The transmission tunnel is huge and the heat generated makes the cabin feel like an oven. To do that in Oz these days would make it an ICV and the cost would be prohibitive, though I was told of a V12 Jag 240Z in Qld some years ago.

The sad thing is, that car is local to me, IIRC the guy lives a couple hours away, and I've never seen it in person.  :-\

The Viper V10 240 is awesome...

I know where there is a Viper V10 as well, that I could have VERY cheap.

If it wasn't for insurance (biggest reason) or lack of cheap tuning options (semi-big reason) it would be going in my 240Z. I'll just swap to a different 6 cylinder...

Hmmm interesting. But I question how it would handle as I know what it is like to have a heavy motor up front in the wrong position. I also wonder what the power out put would be compared to a Chev and whether it's worth going the extra mile of fitting a V12 for little or more than likely no gain in power. But 2 thumbs up for novalty value.  ;)
