Turned up at locality looking forward to seeing some xlnt Z's when low & behold there was only one car. A great looking Datto ute & its owner Adam who informed me that he to had turned up for the day only to find out that the whole deal had been cancelled two weeks earlier. So much for PR work. Quite a few other people turned up while I was there & they weren't to impressed either. I was looking forward to meeting Loui (oldmanz) as well. " Such is life". Regards : Alan. Quote

zeds4ever Posted November 1, 2010 Author Posted November 1, 2010 Stevo,funny you say that but I was informed by a member of that club that it had been cancelled two weeks earlier & he only found out when he got there on the day.So where was this hail coming from Antartica!. Oh & by the way I read this information regarding the show on our site as recently as thur's last week so why couldn't they have gone to the trouble of posting the cancellation as well on this site. But as Stevo pointed out Mark did post on the original thread (#19)on Thurs as soon as weather forecasts started to predict bad weather. Also, Alan you wouldn't happen to have the phone number of the club member who told you that it had been cancelled two weeks earlier would you? I want a tip for the Melbourne Cup!
