sco_aus Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 Hey guys, I seem to have miss placed my seat rails whilst moving house. I'm not sure if the 240 and 260Z passenger rails are the same? Let me know what you have and your price, I would prefer in Canberra, but will pay postage. Cheers Scott Quote
zeds4ever Posted October 31, 2010 Posted October 31, 2010 ;)Pretty sure that 2+2 will fit. Have a set of each & both appear identical. In addition have a set of 2+2 seats in my coupe. Regards :Alan. Quote
NZeder Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 There are differences between the years of the 260z = different seat mounts. So might be best to post a pic of the floor so we know what you are looking for ie early 260z, late 260z of something in between (I say something in between as I have seen what was meant to be a later type shell ie taller strut towers, 2 seater I am talking about, but had the earlier seat mounts) Quote
zeds4ever Posted November 1, 2010 Posted November 1, 2010 Scott I checked out the 2+2 spare set against the ones in my project car. Turns out that the base rail is different ,as the rear section that bolts to the floor is horizontal & not angled like the one that is in my (76) Coupe, plus this rail itself is shorter as well. However the sliding unit that the seat bolts to will fit 2+2 seats which I have installed. Sorry I can't help you mate . Regards :Alan. Quote
sco_aus Posted November 1, 2010 Author Posted November 1, 2010 Ok well I have a 260z 2 seater 1977. I will take a pic soon. Quote
sco_aus Posted November 2, 2010 Author Posted November 2, 2010 I have managed to locate them, some dick head (me) put them in a box that was totally un car related... However, I think we should maybe keep going with this and move this topic so that people can search it and find out the info they need. Il take some photos later today of my rails ad the mounting points nd post them up. Quote
zeds4ever Posted November 2, 2010 Posted November 2, 2010 Happy for you mate. " All's well that ends well". Regards :Alan. Quote
