PeterAllen Posted October 14, 2010 Posted October 14, 2010 Is there a recognised leading brand of hose clamps I should be trying to buy? Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted October 14, 2010 Moderators Posted October 14, 2010 I get nice wide ones from Enzed; pretty cheap too but you do have to know the exact diameter you are clamping. They look like the wide aircraft style with a large m8 nut to clamp. Quote
PeterAllen Posted October 14, 2010 Author Posted October 14, 2010 Thanks chaps but unfortunately the application I have requires the common narrow style. I've noticed Boston, Hoist and Tridon brands and the Blackwoods cattledog has quite a range of tightening designs just to add to the options. i might have a wander around an engineering supply place and see what's there. Thanks. Quote
DatPilot Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 just dont get ebay ones. there are some cheap inferior copies coming out of chinatown, I found out the hard way. Quote
RB30X Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 What are you clamping Peter? The enzed worm drive clamps are fine for all things on your engine. T-bolt clamps as Dimitri mentioned are great for things that blow off with only worms drives like intercooler piping etc. Quote
Z Posted November 24, 2010 Posted November 24, 2010 Hiya Peter, You could take a look at www.speedflow.com.au - they have some nice gear that suits maybe... Quote
