260z doors on a 240z

I posted last year asking about putting 260z doors on a 240z and what internals to use and was replied to with an excellent post of someone who had done this, can anyway help with this problem or guide me through how to do this???

You'll need to swap over the catches & the striker plates.

Questions is: why?

Also you cannot use the later 76-77 2 seater doors; totally different latch/catch mechanism.

Thanks for that, I was able to get my hands on some rust fee 260z 2 seater doors thinking that I may be able to use them on my 240z as my doors were rusted out, damn it. I think they are the later doors as they seem to have different mechanisms as to my original 240z doors.
