zed240au Posted September 19, 2010 Posted September 19, 2010 pretty sure its only illegal to fit second hand belts if car has been in serious accident Had a discussion with transport here i tassie few years ago was told had to have orginal belts in car to meet australian design rules anything else be it replacement belts or race harness had to be approved for use by suitable selt belt installer was bit annoyed at time as car had been register for 6 years with harness's only and guy was telling me i had to fit std seat belts to use on road leave harness for racing only Quote
