acf321 Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Has anybody used RDA slotted rotors on a 240 or 260Z? I am considering buying a set, but wanted to check, as DBA no longer make rotors for the early zeds. Have heard that Brembo make rotors, but not sure where to get these from .. Any other thoughts on brands / suppliers of rotors for a standard 240Z (preferably slotted) would be appreciated. Cheers Adam Quote
C.A.R. Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Nothing wrong with RDA brand rotors in a road car Quote
C.A.R. Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 If it's going into YOUR 'race car' that will only go on the road Adam, then they will be fine Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted July 2, 2010 Moderators Posted July 2, 2010 I just do club sprints with my 240Z and I'm sure my discs are from RDA. I bought the discs then had them slotted by a local guy at about $45 for the pair. Have yet to see or have any problems with the discs cracking or warping etc..For the street, anything will be fine. PZG302 Posted July 4, 2010 Posted July 4, 2010 For your road regoed car the RDA rotors will be fine. I use Magna TP rotors on my circuit racer with Wilwwoods, they work no problems and are cheaper than the pads to replace, which is a good thing as the carbon m,etallic pads chew the rotors out in a bout 15 race meetings.
