Toecutter Posted October 17, 2006 Posted October 17, 2006 Does anybody know if there is a difference between the 260 choke knob and the 240 knob? I've bought a 240 knob from e-bay some time ago and the hole is a little small in the knob and does'nt slide neatly onto the steel point!? Just trying to work out wether its the knob or my choke cable might be some dodgey aftermarket jobby alhough it looks and works fine!? Sulio Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted October 17, 2006 Administrators Posted October 17, 2006 Yes Sulio the 240z one is slightly more narrow around the top of the lever itself. The head another words is a different shape. The symbol on them is also slightly different over the years I think the early Series I 240z has a different icon to the later series II 240z and then it changed again for the 260z. So I think the best thing to do is give me your spare 240z choke lever since I have a genuine HS30 and your RS30 (wanna be HS30) should be able to find the 260z style one at a place such as ZWORX  . Toecutter Posted October 18, 2006 Author Posted October 18, 2006 Hmmm...ok that makes sense, however I will need to chip off 1/4 of the lever as I believe that rear quarter welded in on your car could well be a 260z panel! Quote
