clutch lsd centre

have a long nose R200 3.7 out of 280zx and am looking to convert it to lsd so am chasing a clutch type lsd centre. i know it is a long shot - appear to be a rare item.

I'm sure the company "KAAZ" make a center for the R200 that just need some modifying to fit. Might be easier than trying to find an original Nissan center or buying an import diff.

Not sure what your application is but a fairly cheap way to get a locking centre is from these guys.

 

I have been looking in to it but have not purchased one, so I can not comment on the operation.

They have a 29 spline unit for the r200 a 27 spline unit for the r180 but unfortunately no 25 spline units yet - fingers crossed.

Just sent a crated engine to Melb for Shan on here, $120 for 200kgs in a big wooden box, and a head went to country Vic for $80

I appreciate the offer and the help but i am going to run a 3.7 for an L series turbo; the 4.3 would be more track/carbies;

The 25 spline would be for the r180 in the back of my 240

So change the crownwheel over, and set the LSD centre up in your 3.7 diff, then sell the 4.3 crownwheel and pinion set?

or get an R180 LSD (which are rare, but plenty tough enough for most applications)

 

You'll damage the 1/2 shafts before you break a 4-pinion R180LSD
