chris240 Posted May 21, 2010 Author Posted May 21, 2010 I reckon for this zed drive we should hire a mini-bus ....and put you smartarses in it !! 8) knowing our luck, the bus would break down as well Quote
Spanishroll Posted May 21, 2010 Posted May 21, 2010 it'd only break down if I was driving it! PEW PEW Quote

chris240 Posted May 27, 2010 Author Posted May 27, 2010 well where still on.....2.5 zeds and maybe a 280zx so meet at Dickson and well head off thru the Sutton turn off then Gundaroo & Gunning and onto Crookwell , have some lunch, then shift sideways to Goulburn... Quote
Rhino73z Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 Count me in! Dickson carpark opposite Mac's at 9am would suit me. The Crookwell run will be roughly 3 - 3 1/2 hours return....leaving at 9 will get us to Crookwell for an egg and bacon roll at 10:30. Fingers crossed the weather will hold out. Quote
Cdr Zero Posted May 27, 2010 Posted May 27, 2010 See you there, Z is running better than she ever has! Quote
Rhino73z Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Looking good Miika! But you can help Chris with his when he tempts to follow suit...it was enough fun and games last time. See you tomorrow! Quote
chris240 Posted May 28, 2010 Author Posted May 28, 2010 oooohhhwaahh !! The new setup eh ! I need to study your linkage setup tomorrow....and here I was scouring websites for a FET manifold setup, and now youve done the hard work for me.. I also just got mine back an hour ago...still with the twins though. Quote
Rhino73z Posted May 28, 2010 Posted May 28, 2010 Looks like the weather may conspire against us....they are predicting a wet weekend. If you have a good plan B for wet weather, let me know. Regardless I'll see you at 9am tomorrow. Quote
chris240 Posted May 29, 2010 Author Posted May 29, 2010 well after a miserable rainy start to the day, Miika , Simon, myself and Con in the Rx7 took off for a 5 hour round trip...we went thru Gundaroo, Gunning (lunch) sprinted over to Goulburn. the cars all went flawlessly, as did the windscreen wipers... from Goulburn we decided to head along the tarago road, not realising there was a club day at wakefield Park, so we pulled in for a sticky-beak and to check out the cars..very nice ! Miika must have taken 200+ pics today After wakefield , we blatted south to bungendore, then back across to Canberra. It would have been nice if a few of the others could have turned...there's alwaaaaays next time. Quote
Cdr Zero Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Yeah, I was filling up with petrol and realised I still had it... If you like I can hang on to it until the next time we meet, or we can organise a time to return it if you need it back soon. Some pics from our drive: Quote
Rhino73z Posted May 29, 2010 Posted May 29, 2010 Thanks guys...the Zed and I really appreciated the opportunity to again get a few kays under the belt, even if the weather wasn't perfect. Start posting up a few suggestions for the next sprint! My suggestions is maybe a weekend drive down the south coast. This time of year you can get some cheap accommodation...the weather of course is a little less dependable. Quote
sco_aus Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Sounds good, can hear them rusting already lol. With a bit of luck, I might even make it... lol... NAH, probly not Quote
Surly_Z Posted May 30, 2010 Posted May 30, 2010 Oh man, I miss the Canberra meets! I'll be sure to try and get to one next time I'm in town. Quote
