I dare say a whole car would be classified as an Individually Constructed Vehicle (ICV) for registration purposes in Oz but people might be interested in some components.

I'm particularly interested in the doors - As I understand it there are no design requirement on doors prior to 1977 so they could be fitted without engineering approval but check in your own State.

Sweet. I think I just found my nearly rust resistant zed that I thought I'd be looking for in a few years. haha. 330lbs is really really light too. It'd make an awesome track day car.

Have tracted down the builders of this fg shell in the UK. Will post all info as it comes to hand. Any one interested in getting together and bring one of these to OZ? I sure don't have the funds to do it alone.

I would love to see how they plan to mount the rear suspension

It says they have steel components inlayed into the monocoque shell so I guess they've done the same thing with the suspension mounts. It looks to be nearly an inch thick at the strut towers so if its that thick across the hatch floor then I'd hate to try and fit a spare tyre in there.
