26ounce Posted January 17, 2010 Author Posted January 17, 2010 Hi Lurch, I can only try.I might have to go for minimal scratches. Quote
C.A.R. Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Over the last couple of years finding 2-seater door glass full stop has become hard, Paul. Though you never know - you might stumble onto some NOS if your very very lucky... Quote
. Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 is it possible to have some made? some auto glaziers advertise the replacement of side glass. I suspect You would need to retain the attachment for the winder mechanism Quote
C.A.R. Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 That's quite true Greg, but I suspect that's only for more modern cars. I'm not even sure who you would contact to have a 'run' made. Pilkingtons? Quote
. Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 I am planning to have perspex copies made of my side windows. But I suspect these copies would not be acceptable for 26 ounce. Quote
NZeder Posted January 17, 2010 Posted January 17, 2010 Nissan changed the glass slightly been the 240z and the later 260z so even the 2 seater door glass is not interchangable (other glass is the same) As stated both have been NLA for some time I believe (never looked into it as I have never needed any) The is a thread on hybridz for a guy who works for an auto glass supplier in the USA. He asked if there would be a market for side/door glass. There is some interest however most are asking for 240z glass if I recall. Might be worth checking out the thread and registering your interest (never know might do the same and have some spare door glass stored) Quote
