My aim to put an rb into my 260z has been progressing so slowly for a number of reasons, and i'd gotten that sick of driving a 'family' car i figured it was time to do something about it and get another car i've always loved since they came out

i also fail to a reason to bother putting an sr20 and s13-15 dash etc into a 240z when these are also such good looking cars, and have a smidge of safety and commonality to them (except for the rip off which is their insurance, and wanker factor...)

here's some pics of it that i took as i walked past it, and edited over lunch. its a '99 jap spec r with the b-package and the usual mods, which one of my mates has babied for the last 3-4 years, and one of his mates owned before that and must have spent a small fortune on back in 2002

Well you can't go wrong with an S15 good looks, reliable, fun to drive, good power, but they are not a Zed!!

It is so thrilling to get back into my Dinasour Zed after driving my S15, one has to learn to drive again, set the car up before you enter a roundabout, build the muscles up to twist the car from lock to lock and that audible sound of the L26 is always intoxicating!!

But hey, on the roads today with the traffic you have to contend with, the S15 is sports heaven!!

I bought my S15 new 2001, it is still on the same clutch, fuel injectors, turbo, no oil leaks and it pretty much looks as new as when I purchased it and under the bonnet as well after 217,000kms, I will probably sell it shortly for another daily driver from coast to Brisbane, hard to replace it though!!

I found out last week that I can wear my underware 5 different ways before I have to wash them!

Hi Evan, i have the same delima's and that's why i dropped the old 2.6 back in. I really enjoyed driving it again. I might do the RB conversion one day but may not as well. I still have my eye on some other makes of cars.

i'm confused as you must be doing something wrong (quoting the wrong people?), i can wear mine atleast 7 times...

i've considered putting in another l series but figured it would just be delaying the inevitable, and wouldn't be what i really wanted unless i spent nearly as much as an rb would cost anyway

i agree with you there, the car just needs a few things fixed up on it and i'll be very happy with it, and back to working on the zed at the rate of 1 thing per year...
