I am about to go drill the holes to fit my side mirror's to my 240z doors but i am having troble with choice

 

I have either 280zx mirrors "electric" or chrome wing mirros

What do you guys think??

Personally I would go for a factory one of you could find one or a Tex mirror.

I have a set of these in the garage, will put them on when time permits. Got mine off ebay but I know a couple of places that stock them down under now.

 

I think these are the ones WarrenZ had on his Zed, God Bless him.

they look good

I think i might leave drilling the holes just yet and shop around to see if i can find some nicer chrome mirrors than the cheep ones in the above pic

I just finished welding up the old holes because some one drilled them to low on to low

Any how i am going to go start working on my front guards now while the weather is cool

The XA XB XC Falcon mirrirs look really good on a Z, I have them on mine and they are pretty easy to fit. Just make sure you colour code them to the reat of the car.

I have one of these Ford XY GT mirrors you are referring to that I'm not using on my project. If anyone wants it, you can have it for a very modest sum. Its in Sydney.

yeh i know the ones. we had to order a set for a customer at work the other day i think they wherfe about $150 each. They also come on cortina escort and capri's. I use to have heeps of them back when i was a ford freek
