acf321 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I remember seeing two 240Z's in the media that were both the catalyst for me to sell my 930 and buy another 240, that is get something I can drive hard and drive often, WITH throttle response as an added bonus... The first car was in Octane magazine about three or four years ago and from memory was featured on the front cover. I think the car was green with gold wheels or something like that, and it had racing numbers on the side ... The second car was that one shown in the Shannon's Car Insurance commercials, where the ad host was going round the floor looking at peoples cars, there was a GTHO, and a 240Z amongst other cars. From memory this Zed was a metallic green car, again with racing numbers on it. My question is, does anyone know/remember these featured cars, and if so do you have any specs / photos / contacts, as these were the car/s that made me want to own the project I now have. Cheers Adam Quote
chris240 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 I reckon the dark green one could be the car thats owned by the Brissy tuning shop, it has a well worked Rb26dett...I wonder if thats the one you mean someone confirm.. Quote
ZED660 Posted July 18, 2009 Posted July 18, 2009 The green 240 in the Shannons ad comes from Vic and belongs to a guy who is well known to a number of the Vic members. From memory it is a 2.9 with webers and full cage and goes quite well. It has done a few tours of Tassie. Quote
