Hi, I have an engine for sale.

 

It's an L28 standard rods and pistons.  P90 Head, ported (40mm inlet), matched chamber capacities, 11.5:1 comp.  Large capacity sump with a windage flap. Possibly a lighter flywheel??  A stiff clutch and solid centre. Polished rocker cover, mild cam of some sort (smaller than 72 deg).  Made 100KW/wheels.   No manifolds. 

 

The balancer and dizzy are damaged. The Electronic dizzy only has a mashed cap and rotor button.  Would also need a new front pulley with a crank angle sensor.

 

There is rust on the valves and no doubt a little in the bores, so pull down would be required. Brand new spare head gasket to suit.

Also have an Autronic SM2 ECU and loom to suit. Extra $800.  The dizzy should probably go with the ECU.

And you live in the 'either' with no available contact details & the price is eleventybillion dollars????

Any pics of the porting work that's been done?

 

Also, re: the cam, how do you know it's not a stocker?  Any specs?

 

Finally, would you consider separating head and cam?

If i remember correctly the exhaust had close to the same lift as standard and inlet no more that a 72 deg cam.  It made 100kw at the wheels and needed a bigger cam.  Also have a 72 deg cam kicking around.

No pics of the porting.  A bit of detail to get valve seats and chamber capacities right.  11.5:1 compression.  The inlet ports are 40mm Dia from the outside of the head.

 

Some of the valves are rusty, and would need a pull down.

 

Would prefer to sell as is.

Thats for the cam is it not?

or

Is the whole motor $100?

If so, I'll take it if Spamaster falls through.
