Cdr Zero Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 Looks cool! I prefer how it actually turned out though. Quote
RBZ 260 Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 ditto that reminds me too much of a 65 vette. not that anything wrong with it just its not a vette. i think they nailed it well for that era.only if they all came with S20 engine ahhhh how perfect would that been. Quote
nizm0zed Posted June 6, 2009 Posted June 6, 2009 i imagine that would have been a massive sucess in the us market as an open top roadster, then keep the hard top as the one we know today. Both models side by side coming down the production line, and out to the world. would have made for some interesting builds. Quote
NZeder Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Nissan should have made more the S20 and their other DOHC engine of the 70's aka LZ in the 4 cylinder range etc. I like the way it turned out too. Quote
twosixty Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 Front is a dead ringer of a stingray. I'm glad it turned out the way it did. Like the 70s RA28 celica, it will always look like a small underpowerd rip of a mustang, rather than it's own 'look'. Quote
Mr Camouflage Posted June 7, 2009 Posted June 7, 2009 It's the Yanaha/Nissan A550X. Not really related to the S30 240Z except for the fact Nissan did the development of it for Yamaha. It's more related to the Toyota 2000GT, though that's not accurate either since the S30 and the Toyota GT were both new projects not directly related to the A550X. This was the car Goertz worked on and the beginning of the Geortz myth that he designed the 240Z and the 2000GT. Quote
