Administrators gav240z Posted February 5, 2009 Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2009 Hi everyone, I want to start a thread detailing all kinds of cool vintage wheels that suit the Zcar. Very similar to this: http://www.zparts.com/ads/wheels/wheels_fs.html http://japanesenostalgiccar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=605 Kind of thing, I personally like alot of the old Work rims and Japanese wheels you see on alot of cars in Nostalgic Hero magazine. So post em' up and if you know the name of the wheels please share!
reverendzed
O.K just picked these up on my Zed Project...not sure what they are...and they are for sale. They are a 14X7 rim.
HELLFIRE!
Cool thread idea. I love how these are listed as rare (http://www.zparts.com/ads/wheels/ads/wfs-41.html) as I have 14 of them. I guess there has to be something that we, (as opposed to the USA) got more of even if it was a by-product of the 260Z series.
PZG302
Not vintage, but these will work nicely for me...... 18x8 OM18 Simmons.
Administrators gav240z Posted February 5, 2009 Author Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2009 Not vintage, but these will work nicely for me...... 18x8 OM18 Simmons. Extremely sexy, but not Vintage . Cool thread idea. I love how these are listed as rare (http://www.zparts.com/ads/wheels/ads/wfs-41.html) as I have 14 of them. I guess there has to be something that we, (as opposed to the USA) got more of even if it was a by-product of the 260Z series. Maybe you should try selling some to the US. They are quite rare over there. I think they might have been an option for the 280z black pearl edition (not sure!)

They are a 14X7 rim. They look like "Hurricane" style rims. A copy and or variation anyway.
Administrators gav240z Posted February 5, 2009 Author Administrators Share Posted February 5, 2009 I love the wheels on the BRE 240z. American Le Mans magnesium 14x7 wheels
PZG302
Extremely sexy, but not Vintage . But they are period, well the closest I could get to a period style wheel from Simmons. I really like the BBS style mesh wheels from the late '70's into the '80's

PZG302
These should qualify as vintage, about 10 years old and now no good as the rim is too soft to re roll.
