zzzzed Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Just a quick question, What is it about the l28e manifold that doesn't flow , is it the runners or the small plenum? Quote
C.A.R. Posted December 25, 2008 Posted December 25, 2008 Both. It's designed for smooth running & low down torque. Quote

sydney mike Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 Is there an alternative to building custom or L28e standard? something froma later car or alternative car? Dave ITB'S on a triple weber manifold. Costs about $5K but. I was all set to go for it but the missus threatened castration. Check out Dimitri's Zed. Quote
luvemfast Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 I was all set to go for it but the missus threatened castration. Sounds like a fair trade Quote
herrods Posted October 22, 2009 Posted October 22, 2009 NEVER can that be involved in a fair trade, the long term consequences of their new home in her handbag will be catastrophic to your future decision making abilities!!! Quote
PZG302 Posted October 23, 2009 Posted October 23, 2009 If you can find one, and you can't have mine , an N42 cast number turbo log manifold flows pretty well. The runners are about 1/2 inch longer than the standard L28E manifold and the log itself is less tapered than the standard 280ZX log. That should be a lot cheaper than going the ITb set up plus the injectoras are at the port where they work best and not stuck way ou tin the middle of nowhere where they just don't work as well as on a low revving motor, <9k Quote
