mtopxsecret6 Posted June 7, 2009 Author Posted June 7, 2009 hey gys, im stuck on the door locking mechanism, i have the door catch in the door.. and the latch on the body.. i need a photo of the two "dove tail" pieces, particulary on the door. I have the one for the body.. but the haynes manual doesnt give a good picture of the the door dove tail looks like. Im suspecting that i might not actually have these bits in my parts bin for the car. It would be great if someone could take a wuick photo and put it up for me to see what it looks like. Thanks. I haven't had much time to work on the project of late, but this last week I have been determined to get some progress done. So I bought some materials and you can see the results in the pictures. I have done all of the left side, still have to right side to do, and also the engine cross member and steering rack. Once that's done, I will move to the back of the car and rebuild the back brakes and suspension system as well. Quote

Soon as i get this done, the front suspension will all be done, then i will attack the rear half! (notice the little bent pipe in the swing arm and caster rod shot? That's my performance expansion pipe for my whipper snipper.. muhahaha) Quote
