First meeting and cruise for 2006.

Hi everyone I just got an email from Sandor of the Hungary Z car club.

He is in Australia and keen to meet up to see some nice early zeds.

 

Here is the email he sent me.

Finally I am in Sydney ....and after 2-3 weeks work and family related

involvement I want to spend least 2 weeks travelling around and see my

Australian Z friends. I have already organised some meeting with the

Sydney Z guys' date=' will hope for the same at Newcasle too (as my second home

town)

 

It would also be fantastic, if we would be able to put togeather a

meeting

somewhere near you, because I am very curious about your nice 240/260Z

collection that are very rare indeed on our turf.

 

My suggestion would be the 4th or 5th of February ...somewhere on a nice

place between Sydney and Melbourne, that would not cause to mach

inconvenience to you. That schedule would give you long enough for

calling

up couple guys, who are willing for a small drive ....

 

Please let me know your opinion about my suggestion.

So who's up for a drive, might be a bit of a hike but would be good to leave early and travel up to the border maybe echuca? It's not that far

Gav it is summer and I think most members here would'nt have a/c in their cars for a drive straight up the Hume hwy to the border. The drive up is quite ordinary, no turn offs just one road to the border so it might be a good idea to try and work something else out with him.

im interested in coming, the border isnt really half way anyway, but there are some nice roads up in hills east of Gundagi that might be a selling point instead.

I have spoken to Sandor he's pretty keen to see some Zeds so I think he'll be happy to make a trip down this way. There apparently very rare on his side of the world.

 

I think your right though Sulio it is a long dullish drive and no aircon doesn't help.

 

So if anyone has any ideas feel free to add them. Any suggestions at all.... :lol:
