nah steel ones wont do it for me.. im after the fibreglass zg flares but cant get any kits to bolt them on.. im just asking is there another way :)

the front ones can be held on by a nut and bolt, but as you can't get to the back to hold the nut on the rear up near the top you need the rivet nutserts.

there are people who just use self tapping screws to hold them on, i think Rev is one of them, and sulio did this for a bit too?

I think over at MSA they are going to if not already relase a new type of ZG's that dont have the bolts/studs showing if that makes sense. Imagine ZG's without the bolt spots, smooth all way around. Some of the ppl over at hybridz were talking about them. I'm not sure what to think of them, in both aspects of how they look (may grow on me) and how they are fitted (perhaps moulded in bolts). Otherwise if you want fiberglass blend some to the body or go steel (alot more durable).

Heres a link to the page with the page (lol). Its at the bottom

Once they are on you want them to stay on...

I'm just going to screw them on the rear, but mostly due to the way my guards were welded back together, they come down on a sharp angle together, so there is no room on the inside for a nutsert.  If you go to not and bolt specialists (eg. specialty fasteners here in Canberra), they usually have fancy looking screws/bolts that will match whatever you use for the front and a lot cheaper than going to Repco and buying one of those small packs for $6 for 4 compared to $6 for all of them.

I went to Bunnings got some great black hex head self tappers with 'Z' on the head, can't beat that. (cost me $5.00 for enough for 4 flares!)
