gilltech Posted January 28, 2021 Posted January 28, 2021 The paint code is not part of the VIN #. The cars left the factory with a black on silver printed sticker denoting the paint code on the flat portion of the radiator support, near the free end of the bonnet support rod when it's clipped down. If there's no sticker there then you'll have to work it out yourself. Do you have any original paperwork? Quote

If you can get an idea of what the original by checking out areas which might not have been painted over in the past you might be able to work it out, you can see what was available for the 1976 Z's Quote
