Vq35 in S30

Hi, tried searching but not getting many results. My apologies in advance if I’ve brought up an old topic. 

Vq35 into S30 RHD, any one done this conversion, and what issues were encountered?

Yes there is a red one in NZ with flares that has a VQ. They even sell a kit for it in america.

Thanks, yes I was aware of the kits in America, but had concerns with steering shaft on opposite side of engine bay. Looks like alternator will be right in the way?

Consider using the entire powertrain complete with it's computer/s, the alternative would be with a manual to use an aftermarket ECU which may be simpler.
