finally got around to plonking the extractors on myself...thanks for all the tips fellas. No hiccups !

I will be getting a 2" system made within the next week , any thoughts on type of rear muffler ? ...motor is stockish , but strong.

walker turbo 2 1/4 outlet perhaps or something that will give nice note..

G'Day, I use a straight through resonator in the tunnel alongside the tail shaft and a Lukie straight through (oval shape) at the rear. The sound is strong without being too loud. I notice that you have not fitted the carb heat shield yet. This would be advisable to keep heat from the fuel bowls. Regards David.

Hi Chris,

 

I use a 2 1/4" "Turbo Flow"muffler with resonator in the middle like David has however I found when I had the straight though at the back I would get pretty bad resonation at 100km/hr and lack of bottom end power. 

 

I tried quite a few different combos before I got it right.

hmmmm do you think I really need the carby heat shield ? in the last 6 weeks Ive had no probs. or is it just a matter of time...the carbs are HS-6's which where bought new 12 months ago..
