I did have a search and didnt find any informaation about this topic in the forums.

Im interested to see if there is any interest in both or either heated windscreens and or hatch glass? The wire filiments are in the laminated glass and integral to the glass.

Orders have to be in lots of 5 and each component is aboout $550 ish +/-. Living in Canberra im keen for both bot im not sure what the market is likeley to be so before committting thought I would ask the question.

Hi

I recall a thread a while back that discussed heated front screens.

Can't find it now.

I am not in the market as my AC & heater takes care of that.

I could possibly be interested in a rear screen (2+2), but am assuming you are talking 2 seater ?

cheers

I also thought I remembered a thread about heated frount screens but its gone (probably my memeory)

Yes Peter im talking 2 seater not 2+2 but the deal would be the same as the 2 seater. A donor hatch glass would be required as it will be with the 2 seater heated screens if there is interest.

A friend just had his order for heated frount 1600 screens arive and his screen installed in his 1600 wagon. It looks great and will be very functional in his car as it does not have a heater or AC as its basicaly a track car.

See what if any the interst is.

I’m interested but would try and get my insurance company to cover it.

Not sure how I’ll go with this but my current screen has recently been stone chipped so might have some luck.

Any idea on how long production might take?

Are the screens through Motorsport Windscreens???

If so, Derek is a really nice bloke and will help as much as he can.

I got a heated screen for the S14 about three years ago when I was down home for Christmas and picked it up from him. Only down side was as we both love a chat I was delayed about two hours hitting the road for the drive back to Brisvegas.

Just note that the warranty starts form the date of purchase, but  if you are going to wait to install for a while let him know and he is happy to start the warranty period from when you install.

The quality of my screen is great and I have no hesitation in recommending getting screens through him.
