Wanted : 240Z Front Brake Backing Plates

Hi Guys,

 

Does anyone have a spare set of splash backing plates to fit an early 240Z (unsure if there are differences between the year models?), looking for a straight set.. but a bit of mild rust is ok

Hello Kent,

              I have a pair that were on some standard 260Z struts I bought.

I have smoothed off all sharp edges then sandblasted and painted them.

One of them has slight damage on the bottom where it looks as if the car lost a wheel at some stage.

If you are interested I can give you some photos.

I would want $75 for the pair plus you would be up for postage.

I live in Maitland near Newcastle.

I believe so, early plates including on my very early 260Z don't have as much of a fold around the edge as on later cars, from what I've seen.
