Where To Buy Front Wheel Castle Nut?

Hi,

 

I'm after a castle nut that goes on the front stub axle. Is there somehwere in Aus I can get one from? I did a bit of a search on the web but didn't find anything.

Have you tried;

 

Powers Fasteners

Coventry Fasteners

Nut & bolts Tasmania.

 

If they don't have a 'castellated nut' you can fit two blades to a hacksaw and cut your own slots or, if you have a steady hand, use a cut-off disc in an angle grinder.

Early Commodore stub axle nut fitted my Z31.

I did try my local nut and bolt shops with no joy which is why I asked here. The nut is 18mm x 1 so not a standard metric size.

 

Thanks Richard on the Comm nut I'll look into that. They should be a bit easier to find if they fit the S30.
