davewatson Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Hi all, Recently purchased my first S30 - along with her came a bunch of spare parts. Initially I was quite excited about the idea of EFI, however have decided that as this is the first 'thing' i've ever owned without a computer in it, I want to keep it that way! So as this gear isn't aligned with my vision - its better off in someone else' project. Since I'm new to the scene; hoping everyone can give me some guidance with prices/confirming the parts are what I think they are. EFI Manifold & ECU (ECU has L24 written on it - not sure?) Fuel rails etc all appear intact. 240K downdraft manifold & spare carbies (one carbie is dismantled, other complete - not sure if these are infact off of the 240k?) Thanks all! Quote
gilltech Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Maybe advertise them on Facebook Datsun Classifieds Australia? Quote

davewatson Posted November 8, 2017 Author Posted November 8, 2017 Location and prices? In Canberra - not sure on what they're worth.. - make a reasonable offer? Quote
dat2kman Posted November 8, 2017 Posted November 8, 2017 Maybe keep the 240K intake manifold, use it to fit a simple easy fitting, easy to adjust, Holley 350 two barrell carby The 240K std Nikki/ahitachi downdraft s a modernish one, too much emission crap, and worth little, yes, try tye facebooks. $20 ? The injection setup has come from a MR30 mid 1980's 2.4 Skyline, or similar, and will not work very well on a, more common here, L28, plus very few will muck around with the tiny ports version of that manifold Sell the lot, maybe $50-80, again on those facebbok pages Quote

How would the Holley 350 compare to the roundtop SU's? (performance wise).. Quote

If you have the L24/26 intake manifold to suit the Hitachi SU type carbs, then, yes, they are far better than a Holley 350 downdraft on the 240K manifold pictured above. Quote
