Hi all, I'm currently wiring in my custom ecu and I wish to use the computers aircon control (ability to disable it on wide open throttle etc.) And I was wondering what sort of current the magnetic clutch will draw. I was going to put it on a relay using a low current output from the ecu to trigger it however I have a spare 3A output from the ECU and I was hoping that this would be enough to drive the magnetic clutch (so I can avoid another relay) any idea how much current the clutch draws?

Cheers,

Andrew

Ohm's Law. Look it up. The equation you need is I=V/R.

Simple maths.
