I stupidly pushed my L20ET oil pan (with the rear sump) on my L28/F54 without realising that the oil strainer/pickup was from an l26 (with the middle sump) and damaged it. I believe that the one I need is from a 280zx New sump As you can see the new sump (L20ET) has the hump further back preventing the old oil pickup/strainer from fitting. Cheers Andrew Quote

dat2kman Posted May 4, 2017 Posted May 4, 2017 Srry, they are all the short tube length. I do have two sump pans that have the bowl further forward, compared to the other sump pan, which has bowl set as far back as it can be. Quote

If worst comes to worst then I can pick up a front sump and drill a hole and weld in a tube for my turbo return but I'm trying to use all the stock L20et parts to keep things "authentic" I think it was from an l26 out of a 260z with the rear sump.not sure if thats different from the 280zx or not??have you got an idea on the length your after?
