bsmith555 Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Anyone have any advice re where to obtain the internal bush for a manual steering rack for a '73 240Z? Its some sort of alloy or steel part. Ive had no luck so far - including trying Super Pro. Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted March 7, 2017 Moderators Posted March 7, 2017 Hi Mate Maybe take the whole lot to an old school Engineering Shop or Fitter amd Turner and see if they can turn one up for you. I know a guy in Sydney who could do it, but that won't help you too much. Cheers PB Quote
Cozza Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 I had my rack rebuilt by Active Power Steering in Marrickville. Supposively they replaced internal bushes, maybe give them a call. http://www.activepowersteering.com.au Quote
specialp3 Posted March 14, 2017 Posted March 14, 2017 I will have a look to see if I have part you need, I remember buying about 6 of them many years ago when they were still available. No promises as it will take a while to go through all the tubs full of parts to find them. They are genuine NOS Nissan parts. How quickly do you need the bush ?? PB260Z 1 Quote
bsmith555 Posted March 14, 2017 Author Posted March 14, 2017 Seems to have just been solved - thanks - Stewart Wilkins Motorsport have posted over a bush that arrived today. Brian Quote
