Nissan Datsun R180 Diff, 4.11 Ratio In Excellent

Recommended Posts

Hi all, I am selling a  Nissan R180 diff to suit Datsun 240z, 260z, 240k, 1600, 180B etc on EBay

This diff is in excellent condition with no leaks or funny noises, it's nice and tight , painted up and ready to go.
Currently still in my 240z and the only reason for selling is I have 3 diffs and 2 of this ratio and I need to get cashed up to buy other Zed parts.
This is a rare and popular 4.11 ratio and a really nice ratio diff for acceleration, get the engine revs up into a better range and doesn't  compromise top end speed.
I previously had a 3.90 ratio diff the the zed and this small change to the 4.11 has made it a different car to drive! improvements would be even more noticeable when coming from a 3.54 or 3.70.
This particular diff is not LSD but open centre , and yes the back cover says LSD but is only the cover from an LSD unit.
This R180 is also the "K" series and has the larger 115mm crown wheel instead of the smaller 110mm crownwheel.
please do your own research but I am reasonably confident a Subaru STI LSD could be swapped into this unit being the K 115mm inner diameter crownwheel. you would however need different spline shafts. Or use a Nismo centre for correct fitment/original shafts along with other aftermarket options.
This diff has the Nissan Datsun standard 27 splines for the output shafts with the long bolt retainer, therefore standard fitment for 240z and 1600 and maybe some others.
if you have the circlip clip in style axles i can remove the threaded retainers to suit that setup.
I think that just about covers it , any questions call , txt  or email Craig on 0410 643 209.
Please contact me for a freight price , the $40 listed was all i could really do in this situation and will be correct for Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, etc , but probably wont be for Tasmania , WA, NT and some rural locations.
Please contact before bidding for a freight price .
Thanks for looking
