Modern Engine Package? (240Z)

Hi fellas ,

I'm pulling out my existing driveline (SU Carb L28 5 speed) for a long term, expensive upgrade. Therefore I'm after a modern engine package to drop into the zed for a period of time. This may be a long shot, but does anyone have a complete engine and transmission ZED setup they are willing/intending to part with such as a:

SR20DET

RB20/25/30DET

1JZ etc etc

Got a complete SR20 DET ( series 2 S14 Blacktop) with full engine loom, ECU, and mated to a five speed

Can crate and freight

You would need to use existing gearbox crossmember in your car, then, fabricate brackets to mount the stock SR20DET engine mounts, with their insulators, running forward to the stock Z crossmember.

 

Engine is then set back, gives better weight balance, and plenty room for radiators, intercooler, pipework etc.

 

Package as above, incl five speed, $2500 plus freight to you

Got a friend who just pulled an SR20 (Black top) out of an S14a (soft looking nose front) but has an automatic. Had the notorious vvt rattle and compression was 160 psi i think across all 4 pots. It was a little tired but running ok.

 

He is upgrading to an RB25DET with 5 speed manual so looking to offload the motor.

 

You'd probably wanna refresh it, not sure what he wants for it but doesn't have room to store it. I will ask what he wants for it.

No problem, I asked him what he wanted but he's sort of got a few things on at the moment and isn't in quite the rush I thought he was. Nothing in it for me. .
