I am in the process of replacing my rear suspension and fitting kings low springs (KDRS-09) to my 2+2. After seeing Lurch's sticky in the suspension section I am keen to replace my tall rear strut tops with the shorter front tops as I don't think that it is going to be low enough in the rear with just a spring swap.

Before i go and order a set I thought I would just ask here and see if anyone has a spare set that they want to sell. Let me know what you have.

Cheers,

Kris

Hi Mate

Unfortunately I don't have a spare set of strut tops, but have just what you are talking about with my 2+2.

The image shows the car straight after the change and running factory size rims & tyres before I fixed the crazy negative camber

Thanks for the pic Peter. That looks spot on.

Dat2kman, that's awesome. How much are you after for the strut tops?

Peter, do you mean that the low springs and short strut tops really mess with the camber? How many degrees are we talking?

If it is enough to require offset bushes or adjustable trailing arms I might need to rethink the idea.

Kris

No the lowering did not cause the camber. My car had offset tops in the front (now removed) and that was causing it.

As dat2kman said, lowering the car the amoun I did had a negligible effort on the camber.

The front springs may be a tiny bit free when the car is off the ground, (unless you have shortened inserts) just lock wire them to the hats if that worries you.

Thanks for the clarification Peter.
