krizza Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 (edited) I am in the process of replacing my rear suspension and fitting kings low springs (KDRS-09) to my 2+2. After seeing Lurch's sticky in the suspension section I am keen to replace my tall rear strut tops with the shorter front tops as I don't think that it is going to be low enough in the rear with just a spring swap. Before i go and order a set I thought I would just ask here and see if anyone has a spare set that they want to sell. Let me know what you have. Cheers, Kris ## Sorry, just realised I posted this in the wrong section. Mods please move ## Edited September 24, 2015 by krizza Quote

The image shows the car straight after the change and running factory size rims & tyres before I fixed the crazy negative camber [=143042:image.jpeg] Edited September 24, 2015 by PB260Z Quote
krizza Posted September 25, 2015 Author Posted September 25, 2015 Thanks for the pic Peter. That looks spot on. Dat2kman, that's awesome. How much are you after for the strut tops? Quote

How many degrees are we talking? If it is enough to require offset bushes or adjustable trailing arms I might need to rethink the idea. Cheers, Kris Quote
dat2kman Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 You wont require ffset tops, the amount you will end up lwering it will have little effect on camber. I pmed you regarding the 240z strut tops! Quote

My car had offset tops in the front (now removed) and that was causing it. As dat2kman said, lowering the car the amoun I did had a negligible effort on the camber. The front springs may be a tiny bit free when the car is off the ground, (unless you have shortened inserts) just lock wire them to the hats if that worries you. Cheers PB Quote
