d3c0y Posted September 9, 2015 Posted September 9, 2015 (edited) Garage San Maru is proud to be taking pre-orders for one of our new products (one of currently 2 haha)! DIN triple 52mm gauge surround for 240z heater fascias. Sure you can make your own, but these are laser cut and all the hard work has been done, so it's bolt in. We are doing $50 posted special for AusZ or you can find them on our FB store here: https://www.facebook.com/Garage.San.Maru/app_251458316228. These will come in a natural finish so you can choose to spray them or leave them silver, and can be ordered in a number of configurations. Config 1 No bolt holes. Surround will be held in place with gauge mounts. Config 2 4 x 3mm holes. The top two holes will be used to hold the surround in place, whilst the bottom two holes are purely for aesthetics unless drilled to a larger size to mount along with the heater fascia. These will also be supplied with 2 drilled square washers and 2 threaded square washers to secure the surround. Config 3 2 x 3mm holes in the bottom corners. These can be drilled out and used to secure surround to the heater fascia. I'll test this on a 260Z this weekend to see if it works upside down. Edited September 9, 2015 by d3c0y gav240z 1 Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted September 10, 2015 Administrators Posted September 10, 2015 I like it, I'm sure I've seen some old S30z race cars with gauges in this spot. MyEnquiringMind 1 Quote
d3c0y Posted September 10, 2015 Author Posted September 10, 2015 Being the radio king i'm sure all your DINs are full lol. Quote
Riceburner Posted September 10, 2015 Posted September 10, 2015 I've had a radio in my car for a few years now without any speakers, so for me it's pointless. With a fair bit of money invested in the new engine I wanted to add some extra gauges that'll give me more accurate info than the factory. Oil temp will be one of them, with a 9 Ltr sump I want to see if I need an oil cooler or not. Quote
