Good afternoon Z enthusiasts!

I'm in need of 260Z heater controls as mine doesn't slide to either end in appropriate fashion.

PM me and we'll discuss numbers.

Cheers,

Replacing the controls is not the issue.

Disassemble, lubricate & de-oxide  the system. Replace the heater cock while your at it.

If that doesn't fix it - ask Scoota to take a look at it.

Lol. Yea the hot cold control wire bends when there is too much pressure from "The Cock"

I have a spare "Cock" here!

Thanks heaps for replying guys.

I had a gentlemen in Richmond have a look at it and he also though it was the wire, however he was mistaken and found out the hard way.

Disassembling the control uni, he say that a small piece in it apparently was broken.

Even with the heater controls not being connected in the car, the slider just would no slide all the way.

Any suggestions?

I had the same problem.

Mine was "cocked" :) heater core and required replacing. Once that was done it is as good as new and controls slide very easy.
