I'd say you'd need a TIG welder to really control the heat you put into them when repairing because a MIG would just blow right through the metal. http://page8.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/h203181875 - missing the mesh, but frame looks ok actually. If you can find the mesh anywhere? It's like a honeycomb shape. These are the only 2 I could find on there at the minute. I managed to find a NOS 1 a while ago, all the fasteners are yellow-chromate plated and it's the original grey colour, just some minor surface rust / storage damage in 1 place. I've kept that 1 for myself. I'd want silly money for it if I was to sell it. Most of the Grille's I see or sale are in very average shape. The trouble I find is that often they only include 1 or 2 photos in the auctions making it very hard to really know what shape they are in. I suspect in Japan the export market grille's are popular - grass is always greener and all that. Quote
