Retro Z Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Hi how do these compare to Webbers. Better in my opinion. I actually sold these to Bruce. I have the same setup now on my car (with different manifold and linkages and upon bolting it all on it fired up straight away and ran nice. I know several guys in Melbourne with Dellortos for both street and track and havent heard a bad word about them. They are factory fitment on things like Alfas and Maseratis rather than a universal carb like the webers. Quote
oldmates260z Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 This is so tempting...... Is this everything needed to fit the carbs? I have twin SU's and would just like the sound of side-drafts... What was the engine they came off? (do you know?) Quote
Retro Z Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Other than a few fresh hose clamps and maybe gaskets if you choose its everything you will need to fit it right up. They were off a near stock n42 L28 engine. Quote
brent012 Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 Hi Tai, just wondering if you had the manifold modified to suit extractors? Bruce directed me to your old thread for photos, and it sounds like you still know a fair bit about them. Quote
Retro Z Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 A little bit of the flange and runners were machined to fit the ebay spec extractors it had at the time. I also tried my other 3-2 extractors that i purchased from MSA and it fitted well and wouldn't have required the machining. The manifold also has a port job on it to remove some if the inner casting. Some pics to help Bruce sell. **illustrative only, extractors etc not for sale by Bruce** Quote
