Modifying standard bonnet hinges for G-Nose

So I have heard from various people you can modify the standard bonnet hinges to G-Nose spec. Does anyone know exactly what this entails?

I remember seeing pics of it done, can't remember where. There was a post on classiczcars of someone that did it, but they never posted pictures of the finished modified hinges.

Thanks for that Craig. I did read that thread and yeah there is enough info to guess, but not something you want to be guessing about.
