dat2kman Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Go and buy all the bits and pieces, as listed. Pr ask Pete Mac for a price to build up this. Of course, everyone else can do it cheaper,,, just have a look at the so called "cheap" rebuild, Pete Mac is now re-re-building. Quote

"found a guy who can build an engine for me; real cheap!" Quote
44014 Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 I did price up all the things listed ... Came out well below 15k in machining and parts. Peter mc will build a complete going engine for not much more then this... Quote
dat2kman Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Not Much More??? C'mon! He is very very good though! The numbers do get a bit scary, but, hey,,,, You can count on one hand, the number of good/proper/knowledgeable, Nissan L series engine guts, in this country. Some have been, and still are, around for close to 40 years. They don't try to re-invent the wheel,,,,,, well, maybe Pete Mac likes to stretch things a bit, but that comes from the "built by wizards" department ! I too have a complete race lng motor for sale, at below cost, it'd make a great grumpy street motor, whack on some triples and a proper extractor setup, mate it to a close ratio box,,,,,,, ( see my "Want to go Prod Sports Racing etc" advert on here.
