PeterAllen Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Can someone post an image of the washer jet/s on a RHD 240Z? Thanks. I've searched Google images but no luck. Quote

PeterAllen Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Thanks chaps but I must be missing something. I assumed there would be nozzles poking through the cowl somewhere. What's the go? Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted November 6, 2014 Moderators Posted November 6, 2014 Hi Pete I don't have a photo but from memory the nozzles are only just below the cowl and spray out through the gap. This creates a smooth look without impacting on function. Cheers PB Quote
mossy Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Thats right, the nozzles end up just below the cowl. Not sure if these are the same as yours, the big hole on the firewall is where the nozzle goes through, the middle for the screw and the end hole is for a locating pin on the back Quote
Moderators PB260Z Posted November 6, 2014 Moderators Posted November 6, 2014 Google searched scuttle panel, bingo Quote
PeterAllen Posted November 6, 2014 Author Posted November 6, 2014 Thanks again. The GTO bodywork does away with the Datsun cowl but it doesn't cover the entire scuttle area so I've made an extra aluminium cover. However, I still need to secure the cowl section of the fibreglass to the Datsun frame and I thought I could use the bolt-in washer jets to kill two birds with one stone. It looks like washer jets from an XJ6 Jag should do the trick. Thanks again. Quote
