Hi Guys,

Like many of you an early Z always catch's my eye whilst driving around Melbourne and always nice to see one that is clean and well maintained.

I came a across this car in Mildura last week. Looks great I just had to take a quick photo as it looks very similar to a Z I used to see all the time in Melbourne that had the plates MADZED, that car had a Leyland V8 in it from memory and the same wheels. I was wondering if it could be the same car!? Anyhow, pics below, love that colour.

Nice front bumper treatment ! Is it legal to do that. I had thought of chopping mine so i could get that open mouth I -eat-small-dogs look on my car.

Is that the car with the rover v8 in it?

The rims look familiar.

Come on you two, make up your minds!  Which is it, Rover or Leyland?

I'm not sure if that's the same car that raced at the Sheparton Nissan/Datsun Nationals with the Victorian plates "SLAM". If it has been traded around and has the V8, it has to be the one....Unless I'm wrong...

Young guy owns that one, was in the shop (out back of Howitt st) for a long time getting some serious chassis rust repairs done.

Glad to see it back on the road
