G Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 Hi guys A strange request, but if you're in Melbourne, I was wondering if you could take me for a drive in your car. I'm looking at a whole load of options at the moment for engine rebuilds and I'l like to get a "seat of the pants" sense of what=what. I figure there's no point me throwing a whole heap of dough at the law of diminishing returns if a particular option is "enough". Whilst I know that more = more, it would really give me a sense of where I can go with this, how much it'll cost and what suits my needs. I'm not looking to drive your car, just to sit whilst you drive. I also note that there are a few Melbourne peeps doing a rebuild, so if there is interest in a centralised point where many people could meet, we could organise that as well. Particularly interested to hear from the PMC people! Maybe even Peter would wish to attend to talk through alternatives, but now I'm just musing on ideas.. Cheers Gareth Quote

Riceburner Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 I can't commit to a definite time at the moment but, I'd be happy to let you drive or drive you at some stage in the next month or two if that helps at all. PM me if you want. Cheers, Gareth Quote
