zeds4ever Posted May 27, 2014 Posted May 27, 2014 I'm in the process of fitting a Sard "Racing" fuel injection flow restriction unit on my 280ZX fuel injected motor however I don't have info on where to connect incoming fuel line to it. Does it feed in from the side or from the base connection. Would appreciate help with this. Regards: Alan. Quote

I think your talking about a fuel pressure regulator..if you are whats wrong with your stock one? Is the engine modified at all? If it's standard I would just be using a standard regulator. The fuel pressure regulator should be mounted after the injectors on the return line. Quote
zeds4ever Posted May 27, 2014 Author Posted May 27, 2014 Thanks for the quick reply. Replacing & updating most of the old stuff as I wasn't sure if old one was OK. So I connect unit after fuel feeds to injectors but do I connect return f/line into bottom of cnctn or into the side cnctn of the gauge. Regards: Alan. Quote

It will have "in" and "out" written on it or look at the instructions that came with it? Quote

Cusco450 Posted May 29, 2014 Posted May 29, 2014 Hi Mate, We run theses mainly on race motors as they are typically 1:1 ratio on manifold pressure. The OUT (back to your tank) is the bottom fitting The IN (from the exit of the fuel rail) is either of the ports on the side of the reg. Cheers Brad Quote
