Hey everyone.

I have a 260z 2+2.

The metal bits of my seatbelts are rusty as.

Are there any awesome seatbelt replacements?

I'm more looking for style than fuction (geez that sounds bad) - but given there has yet to ever be someone sit in the rear seats (in fact its almost impossible to fit anyone I know in there), I'm looking for something that looks really nice. (Also, I'm pretty confident that anyone selling a seatbelt is going to make sure they are up to scratch).

I just have standard seats, I'm not looking for anything race-spec .. More classic spec.

Hope you can help.

Also, as its my first post of the year .. Happy New Year Everyone!

Boo, no suggestions at all.  :(

All I've found are websites with either no pictures, or ones with buckles that look like they are from the 80s. Scares me to think what the ones they don't display might look like.

Oh well, thanks for dropping by.

Please do let me know of anything nice.

Nice. What about FD rx7 rear seat belts? The seats in the back of those are similar layout wise to a 2+2. Meaning they are just as useless really...

Not sure what the rules are RE: custom buckles though, I do like the red button.

I have raised this issue on both Cobra and Clubman sites and it seems there is no way around using the later style belts. I really wanted to use the 60s style broad 'lift' buckles but they really only work for lap belts or a harness. The ergonomics of a lap/sash means that if worn correctly the buckle it too close to the tunnel to be latched and unlatched with any comfort and the point of having them is lost. Also I'm not sure that the style I like was still ADR compliant in 1972 (ADR 4), or in your case 1974+(ADR 4A).

Nothing detracts from a Cobra or Super 7 replica than modern style seat belt but that's the way it is.
