koni yellow inserts for coilovers (sectioning and springs)

So on the 240z currently I have sectioned coilovers with eibach 225 and 250 pds springs and tokico illumina inserts, I was thinking down the track of changing the inserts out to koni 8641-1060 sport inserts front and rear, would I get away with just swapping out the tokico with maybe some small spacers underneath the konis?

I would have thought if possible it would be better to have a spacer machined to sit on top of the shock body under the locking ring to stop the shocks bottoming out and blowing a seal.

Edit: Ignore the above... I think I need a coffee lol. What is the difference in shock body length between the Tokikos and Konis?

I've got some rears if you want to measure - also for sale!

I've got a set of sectioned struts if you want to measure the overall tube length for your calcs, but they're in the race car so you'd have to measure around the coil overs etc.

Ok I now have a set of 8641-1060 koni yellows and I'm trying to decide which way im heading with springs (coilover or factory type) and sectioning. I've got an approx length of the koni shock body and that seems to be around 362mm, the 240z stock strut height (inner from dished bottom to lip) front approx 385mm and rear 425mm. This will be a road only car, no track work.

First question is whether to go with king lows or coilover springs like I had before but much softer for the street, I've heard the kings are pretty soft or if I go with the eibach coilover springs I was thinking 200pds rear and 175 front (compared to 250/225 i had before) I have to admit I do like the option of being able to raise or lower the car when I want or to the exact height I want.

Second question is whether to section or not, there is plenty of room for sectioning in the rear but the front looks to be limited to max 20mm, so no spacer underneath.
