Clear coat repair

What the best way to fix the clear coat on my door? I peeled off a number and the clear came with it  :'( it's DeBeers 2pac

damn that's no good mate, prob just need to rub back the whole door until the number cant be seen and respray the clear, hopefully not to big a job if it  did not go right down to the paint you might be ok.

not saying its the best way but that's what I would do

Yep it goes right down to the white base coat  peeled off with the number like bad sun burn

Wasn't prepped and painted properly, Take it back to

whoever painted the car mate.

 

If you done it yourself then best way is to block whole door back.

Being white you should be able to get away with just painting the door.

 

If its metallic you will need to blend through the guard and rear 1/4

rub back the area with wet & dry and re-clear it
