Microtech Cdi options .microtech x6 or m&w ?

Hi guys , after some advice on cdi boxes .

Just purchased a lt12s to run my 20B project and I need to get a cdi box .

Should I get a m&w ignition set up or is the microtech x6 adequate ?

There is a massive price difference between these 2 cdi's

Can any one help me ?

Hi Doug,

A good mate of mine owns Jazmac Performance, He is a

rotor Guru. He only uses Microtech units.

Most of the rotor guys here in NZ seem to favour Microtech for this task.

Hi Doug,

Spoke to Steve today about the M&W ignition. He said it is a

bloody good thing but you need to way up whether its worth the

extra cost over the Microtech unit. Apparently its a bit more work to set

it up.

Yer well that's thing the ecu I bought is from the PAC performance 20B rx3

That was set up with a m&w Cdi box ( there changing to haltech because the microtech is struggling to run the 16 1700cc Bosch injectors ....) so I think I'll just save up and get the m&w set up .
