Hello All,

Was wasting some time looking into Z car memorabilia and stumbled across this website detailing all of the 240Z cars that have been released by Hot Wheels... I thought some of you may find it interesting also...

Z Whiz Series - 1977-1984

Datsun Z Series... 2006-Present

Kind Regards,

Jarrod.

A friend of mine says he has a couple of the gold 240Zs some where in his basement. I'd really like to get one. I'd also like to find at least one of the early bright green ones as well.

I have 2 of these:

It's funny, I bought 1 of these for my young fella yesterday $2.50 from Target. Wouldn't have been more than a couple hours before this thread started.

He also has a Toyota 2000GT in red. He thinks it is a Zed too.

Love it... Please keep posting your collectible Z car toys and fanfare...

The whole reason this thread started is that I too have the "Tom Bork" Z car, which is known to one of my Z car friends in the U.S; he was giving me a bit of its story that I wanted to confirm for the sake of my own interests in early racing Z cars... Apparently, the Tom Bork Z car is Chassis # HLS30-00008 previously owned and raced by Bob Speakman Racing (as a privateer) and rumoured to be the first ever Z car to finish the 24 Hours of Daytona race...

thread over here at CTZCC (Connecticut Z Car Club) that I found in trying to confirm details...

Cheers, Jarrod.

I'll get some pictures of my Z car diecasts and 1/64 scale stuff. But tonight I was given another Hot Wheels Datsun, one of the early Z Whiz cars. It's either a '77 or '78 release, due to the colours and the wheel type. :D The date on the bottom is 1976, but I imagine that year of initial design.
